Nymphéa,

A gentle ripple of exquisite elegance

With their aura of mystery, Claude Monet’s iconographic nymphéas haunt our imagination. The great impressionist painter spent thirty years producing nearly three hundred paintings as he strove to possess the elusive soul of these original, aquatic flowers. Their large circular leaves, tinged with soft green, gently floating on the surface of the water, seem to enclose fathomless secrets.

Recreating Nature’s lightness and sensuality, this was the aspiration of Adler’s artisans.

And what greater hommage than to employ such precious elements, yet another facet of Earth’s generous bounty ? The glowing green of emeralds for the chlorophyll of the leaves, the brilliance of the diamonds for the dancing refl ections in the water…

‘Nymphéa’ High-Jewellery set, with its rounded elements paved with emeralds, evokes the easily-recognizable shape of these poetic plants.

It suggests the same undulating movement through the nonsymetrical arrangement of its motifs and the sparkling of its diamonds of disparate proportions

The art of the jeweller reuniting the beholder with the enchantment of our world.
