For centuries, the windmills of Mykonos have harnessed the mighty Meltemi winds to refine grain for the islander’s daily bread.

As playful and as the wind for which it is named, our Meltemia parure in cool diamonds and fiery rubies draws inspiration from the red arms and white sails of these iconic landmarks.

In keeping with the Adler style, sophisticated asymmetry and vibrant colour create a sense of lively movement. Like sails billowing on the horizon, the earrings repeat this breezy theme.

With meticulous attention to detail, our master jewellers have created an articulated setting of unusual airiness and delicacy that allows each stone to move slightly, as if caressed by the wind.

The necklace’s three triangular sails are rendered in glittering diamonds edged with rubies. A 8.06 cts oval-cut ruby at the centre anchors the asymmetrical composition.
