Adler and Art

Glasswork art by Valerie de Roquemaurel for Adler joailliers

A Timeless Alliance

For nearly 50 years, Adler Joailliers has been championed Art in all its forms by exhibiting works in its boutiques. Painters, sculptors, glass artists, and mixed-media, visionary creators have shared their world alongside the Maison’s jewellery creations, offering visitors a truly unique aesthetic experience.

This dedication to Art is deeply rooted in the very DNA of Adler Joailliers. Founded in 1886 in Constantinople by Jacques Adler, the Maison was shaped by the rich cultural heritage of the Ottoman Empire. This cosmopolitan capital, a true crossroads of civilisations, was brimming with artistic and artisanal treasures from around the world.

Immersed in this diversity of styles, techniques, and inspirations, Adler seamlessly infused this richness into its approach to jewellery-making crafting pieces that embody a dialogue between heritage and innovation.

For four generations, the family has upheld this tradition of artistic openness and cultural exploration. Travel, encounters, and a passion for Art continue to fuel the Maison’s creativity and influence its collections.
Firmly believing that jewellery is an art form in its own right—on par with painting, sculpture, or glasswork—Adler has always sought to foster a dialogue between its jewellery and other artistic expressions, allowing harmony and beauty to emerge as a unified whole.

Far from being confined to a single style or era, Adler embraces a bold eclecticism, bringing together established artists and emerging talents. This cross-disciplinary exchange offers an enriched vision of creativity and demonstrates how Art transcends boundaries.

Thus, the creative passion of Adler’s jewellers extends beyond gemstones and precious metals—embracing all forms of Art, reaffirming the belief that beauty is a universal language, timeless, and boundless language and ever inspiring.
