As a fourth-generation family business, our company has been through many challenges throughout the years.<\/p>\n

One of the things that has sustained us over time is our commitment to honoring our promises and maintaining the trust of our stakeholders, an investment in sustainability before its time.<\/p>\n

These commitments are not, therefore, dry prescriptions for us. They are underpinned by our willingness to enter into relationships with the people we meet, in a conscious, autonomous and warm manner, while preserving our limits.<\/p>\n

The Kimberley Process<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

As a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, Adler only uses diamonds that conform to the Kimberley Process and the regulations in effect.<\/span><\/p>\n

All diamonds are purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict, in compliance with the United Nations Resolutions and corresponding national laws and\/or written by supplier of such diamonds.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

What is the Kimberley Process?<\/span><\/span><\/div>

The Kimberley Process, which has been in practice since 2003 and adopted by over 75 countries, is an international certification scheme that aims to prevent the flow of conflict diamonds.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Responsible Jewellery Council Certification (RJC)<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

Adler operates transparently to promote ethical practices that are socially and environmentally responsible, respecting human rights from one end of the jewellery chain to the other, from extraction to sale.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

WHAT IS THE RJC?<\/span><\/span><\/div>

The Responsible Jewellery Council is an international not-for-profit organisation bringing together more than 300 member companies committed to promoting responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices in a transparent and accountable manner throughout the jewellery industry from mine to retail. Their commitment aims to reinforce consumer and stakeholder confidence in diamond, gold and platinum metals jewellery products.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Unless otherwise stated, diamonds provided by Adler are exclusively of natural origin and untreated, based on personal knowledge and\/or written warranties provided by the supplier of such diamonds.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Melee Diamonds<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Diamonds are graded according to criterias defined by the Gemological Institute of America, known as the 4Cs<\/a>: cut, color, clarity and carat weight. At Adler Joailliers, melee diamonds range in color from F to H and in clarity from VS to SI, unless stated otherwise.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

The use of colourless and heating fluids are recognized as traditional lapidary practices in addition to the cutting and polishing of certain coloured stones, as well as the bleaching of pearls.\u00a0Our gems may have been the subject of these general beautification practices.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
